If you didn't already know, we are an independent, family-run business, and have been since we started - in 1975. Our flagship Alnwick store not only boasts a much larger selection of homeware, hardware and gifts, but also provides a range of services to the local community.

Calor Gas

We sell the full range of Calor cylinders for both refill and exchange. These are available to buy online for local customers only, or feel free to call or pop into store.

Local Delivery

Throughout the pandemic, our local delivery service was a life line to many customers. This service is available every week of the year, delivering absolutely anything from the shop to people living within Northumberland, for a small charge.

Furniture Delivery & Assembly

For all of our furniture we offer a delivery service, however local residents can also benefit from assembly and a friendly member of the team from the shop delivering their items. Prices vary, please feel free to enquire. We offer this service across Northumberland, as well as Tyne & Wear, but can also work further if required.

Knife Sharpening

Our professional knife sharpening service is available in store. It is perfect for both commercial & personal knives, keeping them cutting at their best.

Key Cutting

We cut a huge selection of cylinder & mortice keys, and can order almost any blank when we don't have one at hand. Available in-store, every day.
